Semi-supervised exercise training program more effective for individuals with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome in randomized controlled trial.

This randomized controlled trial explored the effects of a semi-supervised exercise training program on individuals with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Participants were assigned to either a semi-supervised exercise training group or a standard of care (SOC) group. The study found that those in the semi-supervised exercise group experienced greater improvements in aerobic fitness, orthostatic symptoms, and exercise tolerance compared to those receiving standard care. The results suggest that personalized exercise programs, even with minimal supervision, are more effective for improving outcomes in POTS patients compared to general exercise recommendations.
