New-onset Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome Following Coronavirus Disease 2019 Infection.

This case study describes a previously healthy female patient who developed new-onset postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) following an infection with COVID-19. The patient experienced symptoms including fatigue, orthostatic palpitations, dizziness, and presyncope, which led to her undergoing a head-up tilt-table test. The results confirmed the diagnosis of POTS. The study highlights COVID-19 as a potential trigger for POTS onset, adding to the list of possible post-infectious sequelae associated with the virus.
