New (free) AI intelligence platform for patients with Dr. Jen Curtin

This episode describes the new, free RTHM Intelligence Platform—an AI‑powered, HIPAA‑compliant tool built specifically for Long COVID, ME/CFS, POTS, hEDS, MCAS and related complex conditions. Dr. Curtin, a former ME/CFS and current POTS/hEDS patient and now Medical Director at RTHM, explains that it was designed as the system she and her co‑founders wish had existed during their own diagnostic odysseys. Patients can securely pull in or upload years of medical records, answer structured questions, and receive: (1) a personalized “health roadmap” summarizing their case and suggesting possible diagnoses, labs, and treatment options (prescription, over‑the‑counter, and lifestyle); (2) an AI chat that knows their full history and can search their records, graph labs, interpret tests, draft letters for doctors/disability, and help prepare for visits; and (3) daily check‑ins/journaling that the AI can analyze over time to detect patterns and treatment responses. The platform also integrates curated, up‑to‑date research (avoiding flawed ME/CFS GET/CBT literature) and is being used to aggregate anonymized outcomes data to learn which treatments help which subgroups, with the long‑term goal of more individualized care. It is free worldwide (with some US‑only features like e‑prescribing and electronic record import) and aims to shorten diagnostic delays, reduce guess‑and‑check treatment, and give patients and clinicians better, shared decision‑making tools.
