Autonomic Manifestations of Long-COVID Syndrome.

The article explores the autonomic manifestations of Long-COVID, a condition arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, which often presents with symptoms typical of autonomic disorders like fatigue, brain fog, light-headedness, and palpitations. It reviews the prevalence of these symptoms and investigates autonomic nervous system functions through various testing methods in Long-COVID patients. While the physiological mechanisms behind these autonomic disturbances remain unclear, the article highlights the high prevalence of autonomic disorders in Long-COVID cases. Nevertheless, studies have yet to explore effective treatment options for autonomic dysfunction in the context of Long-COVID, indicating a gap in current clinical management strategies.
